You don't see your website
What to check when your website is missing from MeasureScale, or your assistant cannot find it.
MeasureScale shows the sites that your connected Google account can see in Search Console and Google Analytics 4. Use this page when your site is missing from Properties or your assistant cannot find it.
Check these causes in order. The first one is the most common.
1. You connected a different Google account
MeasureScale sees only the sites your connected Google account can see. Your site may belong to a different Google account. This is common when a plugin or an agency set up Search Console or Google Analytics for you.
- Open Connections in the portal.
- Check which Google account is connected.
- If it is not the account that owns your site, choose Connect another account.
- Sign in with the Google account that can see your site.
- Allow read-only access to Search Console and Google Analytics.
You can also ask the site’s owner to add your Google account in Search Console or GA4. Then refresh the list.
2. The site was never added to Search Console or GA4
MeasureScale reads your sites from Google. It cannot see a site that Google has no data for.
- Check that your site is set up in Google Search Console or Google Analytics 4.
- If it is not, add it there first.
- Then refresh the list.
3. Google Analytics is not linked to the site
Your site may appear, but questions about visits or revenue do not work. The GA4 property may not be linked to the Search Console site.
- Open Properties.
- Find your site in the list.
- Set Linked GA4 property to your site’s GA4 property.
MeasureScale suggests a link when exactly one GA4 property name contains the site’s host name. You can also name the GA4 property in your question.
4. The list needs a refresh
MeasureScale checks for changes at most every 10 minutes while you use the portal. A site you just added may not show yet.
- Open Properties.
- Choose Refresh from Google.
- Ask your assistant “Which properties can you see in MeasureScale?”.
