Usage, allowances and plans
How your plan's daily allowance works, which questions use more of it, what is free and how to check what you have left.
Each plan has a daily allowance of units. Your assistant uses units each time it fetches data from MeasureScale.
How the allowance works
- Most fetches use 1 unit.
- A few heavy analyses use 3 units. Examples are cannibalization checks, the decay matrix and forecasts.
- A fetch that fails is free. MeasureScale gives its units back.
- Checking your usage is free.
- The allowance resets every day at midnight UTC.
Midnight UTC is the same moment everywhere in the world. It may not be midnight where you are. For example, in New York it falls in the evening.
One question can lead your assistant to fetch data several times. Each fetch counts on its own.
Plans
Plans differ in their daily allowance. The pricing page lists the plans and what each includes. You pay on Stripe’s secure checkout.
Check your usage
Ask your assistant “How much MeasureScale usage do I have left today?”. Checking is free.
You can also open Usage in the portal. It shows Remaining today and the share of today’s allowance you used.
When the allowance runs out
Your assistant tells you that the daily allowance is used up. You can ask again after the next reset at midnight UTC. See your assistant says you’ve reached a limit.
The allowance is separate from the rate limits. Rate limits cap how many requests you make in a minute or an hour.
MeasureScale does not charge for AI processing. Your assistant does the reasoning with your own AI plan.
