What MeasureScale is
MeasureScale lets you ask your AI assistant about your site's Google search traffic and revenue in plain words.
MeasureScale lets you ask your AI assistant about your website’s Google traffic. You ask in plain words. Your assistant answers from your own Search Console and Google Analytics 4 data.
You do not need to build reports yourself. You connect your Google account once. Then you ask questions in the assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
MeasureScale adds to your assistant as a connector, a kind of add-on that lets it fetch your data.
What you can ask
Here are some questions MeasureScale can answer:
- “Why did my traffic drop last month?”
- “Which of my pages are losing clicks, and is revenue falling with them?”
- “Which searches bring visitors who buy?”
- “Which older posts should I refresh first?”
The what you can ask pages show more examples. Start with these:
- Find out why traffic dropped
- Decide what to write next
- See which pages earn money
- Build a monthly report
Who it is for
MeasureScale is for site owners, marketers and SEO specialists. It also suits agencies that look after several client sites. You need a Google account that can see your site in Search Console or Google Analytics 4.
It only reads your Google data
MeasureScale asks Google for read-only access. It never changes anything in your Search Console or Google Analytics account. It reads your data when you ask a question. It does not keep a long-term copy. How your data is handled explains what it stores.
Search Console keeps about 16 months of data. GA4 data goes back about 14 months. Your questions can cover those periods.
How to start
- Create an account and connect Google. The quickstart walks you through it.
- Add MeasureScale to your AI assistant. AI client setup has the steps for each assistant.
- Ask your first question.
How it works
MeasureScale is a hosted MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use for add-ons. Your assistant connects to one address:
https://mcp.measurescale.com/mcp
Your assistant decides what to ask MeasureScale. MeasureScale reads the data from Google and runs the analysis. Your assistant then writes the answer. MeasureScale does not run the language model. The reasoning happens in the AI plan you already pay for.
What MeasureScale can do falls into a few groups:
| Group | What you can ask about |
|---|---|
| Search Console | Clicks, impressions, CTR and position by query, page, country and device |
| Google Analytics 4 | Sessions, key events, revenue, ecommerce and custom reports |
| Search Console and GA4 together | Which searches and landing pages drive conversions and revenue |
| Search analysis | Decaying content, cannibalization, striking-distance keywords, opportunity scores |
| Detection | Traffic anomalies, sustained shifts and forecasts |
| Indexing and audits | URL inspection and on-page SEO checks |
| Organization | Content groups, topic clusters and annotations you keep in MeasureScale |
Data windows and freshness explains how far back each source goes.
A small set of tools make changes, but only to data you keep inside MeasureScale, such as annotations and content groups. They need your explicit permission. See read and write tools.
